This is the pic that always makes me smile - my son had caught the fish and it was all less than 24 hours old. I can't even beign to describe how nice it tatsed!

Aidy - what did you feed the pumpkin for it to get that big - its fantastic!  Now that's what I would love to grow for the kids - what variety did you say they were again?  I'm just growing the hundredweight ones this year.

This was the Atlantic Giant and the feed is a secret. Not growing them this year having a year off as I am trialing different beetroots this year, Chioggia is or should I say has become the family fave, stunning.


Anyway someone mentioned cauli's well here is one of mine...  ;)

Aidy do they stay that colour when you cook'em? They look absolutely gorgeous :)

I believe they do Mumofstig tho as yet I haven't cooked them, this is the fist year growing them. Unlike white caulis you let the light get to them.

That was one great parsnip! What variety was it out of interest?

I just adore baked parsnip, pumpkin, sweet potato and spuds. Life wouldn't be anywhere near as enjoyable without them! LOL
