Why didn't BQ's peas make it too the pan
« on: June 07, 2009, 20:13 »
Very excited eight year old harvested her first garden peas, she was thrilled we got half a bowl. Little monkey wouldnt let go of the bowl and offered to sit with them and watch them while we finished the fence.

time to go came and she said those peas were great, she had eaten every single one. LOL at least someones happy, her brother is happy to, he hates peas  ::)

My daughter eats like a horse bless her, she is as slim as a pin (she doesnt have my jeans )  ::)

It was the look on her face. it was the same look you would get from a small child who had just stolen a big chocolate bar

That is the best way to get children to eat veg. If your son ate them straight from the pod, he`d be converted too.   :D

I remember going raspberry picking with no 2 daughter - then 3 yrs old.
I picked the fruit and put it into a bowl held by said daughter. At the end of the row I turned to check how we were doing, and the bowl was empty!
She denied eating them!!
