"My question is what liquid feed?"

Something that you mix with water and then apply (e.g. watering can) to the soil around the plant / pot.

The alternative is a granular fertiliser, or powder sometimes, that you can just sprinkle on the ground - and then it dissolves with rain / when watered.

Fertilizer is normally rated with an NPK Ratio - such as 1:1:2.  This is the amount of the main elements Nitrogen, Phosphate and Potassium that it contains. They are likely to also include trace elements.

Different scenarios need different solutions.  Nitrogen is for growth, Phosphate for roots and Potassium for fruit.

The ratio of the numbers is the important bit - 1:1:2 is the same as 2:2:4 (but the later contains "more" so, in essence, you only need to use half as much)

Tomato fertiliser is typically around 4:4:8 to 5:5:10

I started to use this year, it has proven to be very good for my seedlings and transplants. For toms I intend to carry on using the tom feed, different NPK. As a all-rounder I don't think you will do much better than  Maxicrop.
