soft egg
« on: May 19, 2009, 20:18 »
Hi All
Just found my second egg. This one was much lighter in colour so I think it was the first from our Sussex. The egg was broken as they ran to get their corn but feeling it, it was soft and very thin. Would this be because its here first or do I need to do anything more than feed, corn and "gravel"

some girlies just take a while to get it right! my blackrock laid 3 softies before she got in the swing of things, as long as they have access to layers pellets and oyster shell grit I wouldnt be too concerned unless it continues!
Congratulations by the way!  :D
