Victoria is a good all rounder, cooks well and good dessert eater if fully ripe. Can freeze but at best then only use as cooking filling. Good for jams. Importantly it is self fertile so one all alone on the plot will still produce fruit. Spacing depends on form - bushes need to be about 10 to 15 foot apart depends on type of rootstock but could grow as fan or cordon which allows it to go upto a sunny wall or on edge of a  plot. I suggest you get expert advice, I use Ken Muir, try www.kenmuir.co.uk and follow links for queries.

Ken Muirs list shows "St Julien A" rootstock making a tree upto 15 feet high and "Pixy" rootstock making a  tree 8 to 10 foot high. Fans of course make about 2 foot lower in each case and cordons about 6 foot max. Really woudl suggest you get your hands on a Ken Muir catalogue.
