hi every one im new to grow your own im just wondering how to tickle tomatoe plants :ohmy:

This is assume is to re-create the effects of a breeze & stimulate the plant into stronger growth to resist it. (See I know what you're talking about).

I think just running you finger gently over the plant is all you need to do.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I think the Japanese gently brush seedling with a sheet of paper to harden them off, as DD suggests to strengthen the plants.
