Yaaaah! Nice one Chris.

What's in the pic, first to appear?  Radishes?

Been following your story. You must be chuffed.

Be warned, it's addictive, today SFG tomorrow you'll be looking for 'just an acre' !
Liv.

He's already signed up for a lotty, so well on his way to that acre  :D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I think that's a great plan you've got there - shows what & when, and helps you remember next year for rotation purposes.  Also is somewhere for you to record what worked well and what didn't, and whether sowing dates need adjusting etc (because you will forget by next year, believe me  :D )

When do i know when to start to thin some of my items out. On the guide i have been going with it stated to sow my seeds than i needed and then snip off the weakest ones if i have noware else to replant them. Is this true and when do i do this.

It stated the following:

"Next, drop 2-3 seeds into each hole but 4-5 for carrots and parsnips as germination can be irregular. Do not forget to add a label or keep a paper record of what is planted in each square. If all the seeds grow snip, off the weakest using a pair of scissors to leave the strongest seedling. DO NOT PULL OUT as this disturbs the roots of the wanted seedling. The technique is equally applicable to larger plots and certainly is a very economical way to use seed."

Another photo update this week for you all. Going to sow some more seeds later, The radish has come out so much there does not look much room for them to grow and the same go's for the beatroot as well.
