Ive about 10 semi transparent containers which are ideal size for a few more carrots and tattys but with them being semi transpaent will it make any difference or not or would it be an idea to line them out with black plastic first?

Most of my containers are the opaque type which most shops sell, they are about 24 inches long by 18 inches wide and 12 inches deep. I have grown onions,garlic, shallots, carrots, parsnip, spring onions, peas, dwarf beans, leeks, celery and kale which have all produced decent crops. Might be  a problem with potatoes if they start to go green at the side of the containers?

I would not use for spuds without lining first. If spuds are exposed to light they will go green and become poisoness
