how come a choclate buff orpington is so dam expenceinve there like 400 pound per hen thats stupid . why are they so expecive hatching eggs for 12 are selling for  140 pound thats insane .
can any one explaine why there so expencive .
when a normal buff orpington is about 15 pound ?

i woudnt pay that price. i would rather paint a white one brown if i wanted one that bad i heared that hair dye is cheap at tescos at the minute . may work on fethers . ha ha ha

I think Carefoot a well-known geneticist founded the colour, then Grant Bereton carried his work on. Choc is a recessive mutant gene very hard to replicate and there are only a few true breeders around which makes it a very expensive colour to breed true. They are very beautiful though.

YES! My OH can do that too ( he can cook, but you cant eat him)..roll on up all...its a bargain  ;)
