At the weekend I emptied the last of last years potato tubs. A bit late I know. They were Ulstre Sceptre the crop was still OK with some pretty big spuds, just one had started to rot. We had some for Sunday tea and they tasted delicious

When I first rotavated the plot a few weeks ago, I dug up about 20 or so that were still fine. I think they were the charlottes. They were going to be for dinner but I left them at the plot and forgot all about them

I have found the same... Spuds i missed last year, have been dug up in the last few weeks in perfect condition . I relatively dry winter must of helped.

They were still in the compost in the original growing container outside in the elements, I had just never got round to emptying it.
