Does anyone use a pc plot design program?
Are they any good?
I would like to design my plot and scale on my pc.
I'm running out of bit of paper!

I am new to this game and have used a web based product to do my planner, it also tells me spacing and when to plant. I know its a bit of a cop out to some, but its really helped me as I have changed my plot about 10 times and all i have to do now click a button to redesign.

If you go to growveg.com, they have a free 30 days trial, which I fully intended to use and then discard, but then I found the site ver useful so signed up for a year. Also when you plan your plot for the next year it incorporates crop rotation for you so that if you try to drag a veg to a place you panted it last year it warns you. Good eh!

Excel
To start with, its easy to alter the box sizes to be 20x20 squares and just use colours and borders to represent stuff, if you buy a book and are prepared to learn, you can make it do anything.
Theres no reason you cant record daily climate data and compare it to crop productivity
