i was wondering how many grow off each plant. it is 1 per plant isnt it? for some reason i have the idea that a few might grow off each plant but im just being silly arent i?

cabbage is one per plant. There are 2types of broccoli .....sprouting which has many small florets and .....single head type (calabrese) but even with these if you leave them after cutting the main head more small florets grow

With cabbage. If you cut them off leaving a few leaves and where you have cut the stem cut a cross into it, this might then develop into mini cabages, so to speak.

That works for me hindy123. I leave my spring cabbage roots in for ages and get several small cabbages off each.

Yeah we used to do a second crop of spring greens off the cut stems, down the farm they're a bit dinky but perfectly edible
