That's why it's important to keep a notebook. So if something is absolute cr@p you know not to try growing it again.

I've had them from the supermarket as a salad potato and they weren't bad.

You are in luck or not!!! I did actually grow these last year.  Tasted ok and nice.  But was very disapointed iwth the yield compared to Charlotte.  that may be because Lady is a first early and charlotte a second I don't know.  By the way I think its Lady Christl with an 'L' on the end not 'i' if you need to google although it seems to have both spellings.

Yields same amount of tubers:
Lady Christl 16lb 4oz (approx 7.3kg)
charlotte 28 and half lb approx 12.9kg)

HTH not much though as you already have them.  Maybe I was unlucky.

Grew Lady Christl last year and they did well. All the family seemed to like them. The old boys on the allotments were moderately impressed too! :tongue2:

I've always grown Charlotte here in York, goes down very well  :)

Whereabouts in N Yorks are you (I'm just being nosy  ;))
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
