And I always thought it was sodium chloride & acetic acid. Must try Munty's version then. Bet I get indigestion.

Er no digger, you won't get indigestion 'cos you won't have a stomach left

Now what I would do with Epsom Salts is to put some in a nice hot bath and have a long soak.   It's great for aches and pains after a day digging :)

Jim T, epsom salts are about as needed by a plant as feeding it is. Plants don't really need bone meal, kelp, seaweed, etc but we give it to them to boost plant health. Remember that the name is a bit of a misnomer, that it really isn't any form of true salt. It is used for most plants simply to help strengthen them in root systems and in greening up the leaves. It's scratched in (about 1/4 cup/plant) and used as a foliar feed twice a season.

Scratched in??

I'm in this topic coz my Runner Beans have gone all yellow - green at the top, yellow as they grow.  So, if anyone has any other suggestions, Oh, how grateful I would be!

Incidentally, Munty, got any spare pullets??
I'm sure I should be doing something - not just indulging in surfing this forum.  Anyone know what?
