I was having my evening chat to my two sweet pepper plants and I noticed this:



Is that a flower bud?  :shock: Or just me getting excited about a new leaf?
It's in the centre at the top where the new leaves come from  :?

Looks like a flower to me  That's one confused pepper ...no one told it it's winter...what you been telling it :?:

Obviously, I should have been more specific when saying 'grow little pepper, grow'

He's only 8 weeks old and still in a 3" pot. Should I pot him up? How long does it take from buds to peppers, he'll need to grow a bit or the peppers will be bigger than he is  :?

My peppers last year didn't have any flowers, those buds just grew straight into the peppers  :?

Something funny's going on with my peppers this year too.

Several of the ones I'm overwintering are happily flowing and growing new chillis - I had a small crop from them in September, but another a few months later in mid winter is weird!!

It's got a few more buds developing too
