Here is the link for DEFRA, it's a PDF file and I would probably ring the home office to ask questions. With the different diseases popping up on occasion things can rapidly change.

One common thread that I have found is that the import restrictions on hatching eggs are usually less strict. There are very few diseases that are carried through the eggs.

I can send eggs or day old chicks to Hawaii with just a NPIP cert. but if I were to ship a juvinile or adult bird they would have to go through quarentene and have a lot of paperwork accompany them. The NPIP cert. says they are free from Typhoid and Pullorum and many are getting flocks cert. against avian influenza too.

; egg importation from various countries..the length of time en route would also be important.
