Thats brilliant. I would think it would be very good to heat in winter with the thick walls and roof insulating it.  I don't think I have the patience to build one though !

amazing! Well done them!! maybe all the schools should do it - a free greenhouse and a recycling project to boot.

One downside I understand is that pop bottle plastics are not UV resistant so the GH woulnt last very long before going brittle and blowing all around the allotment.

I am not sure about going ahead with this if it only lasts a year or so before breaking up into my well tended soil!

hmm would be a definate problem. Are you able to use the corregated plastic sheets you see?

Mind you you can get some pretty cheap green houses these days.
