I use pectin in a powdered form bought from my local homebrew shop. Hope it's some help.
He's my best buddy, my dog called Woody.
If it works, organic. If it don't, well.........??

Have a look in your local yellow pages under homebrew. You might be lucky.

A local chemist may have it

If you get desperate, I'm pretty sure our Morrisons still have the Silver Spoon pectin sachets. I could get you a couple of boxes and post them but you're unlikely to get them before x-mas now.

Certo is liquid isn't it? Both Sainsburys and Tesco seem to sell that. For dry pectin (Silver Spoon), only some Morrisons and, apparently, ASDA, seem to sell it.

Certo make both liquid and dry pectins but I'm not sure what they offer the UK market. Over here they're very pricey so I buy the store brands. If you're at a real loss then make some homemade apple pectin. Dont' have a recipe for it but you can easily google it.

Well I trailed half of bristol and came back blank, I have been through the yellow pages and called every chemist, kitchen store, farm shop, wilkos, and every supermarket and no one at all stocks it.

I would be really gratefull if someone could send me a pack, i dont have anything like paypal but I am happy to either send cash, or a cheque to cover product and postage.

Let me know if you fancy helping, somerset seems to be pectin free

I'll have a look tomorrow when I'm in Nantwich. If you're stuck this side of x-mas you could make your own pectin stock. Use cooking apples, redcurrants or gooseberries. Put the prepared fruit in a pan with around ¾ pint (450ml) of water to every 2 lbs (1kg) of fruit and simmer until tender. Strain through a jelly bag or muslin. Set the juice aside. Leave for a few hours and then cook the pulp again with half the original water. Simmer for about 1 hour and then strain thoroughly again and combine the two batches of juice. I'm not certain how much you need but you could freeze any surplus pectin stock for in the future.
