I phoned them yesterday as I too have ordered some, they told me stocks where late coming in because of the warm weather, and the anticipated despatch to be sometime next week

I imagine their point of the weather being warm is valid , I'm sure they will be with us soon, I can get them in then. Along with DD.'s we should be swamped with rasp's within a few years  :D  :D

Well at last they all turned up this morning so I'm going to be busy this weekend.

Whats the score with strawberrys, can they go in now as we have 25 plants just come with the order and there's no info for them.

As long as the ground is workable, you can plant strawberries anytime. They're very tough plants and don't mind frost at all.

Trilliums bang on, I cosseted my strawbs last year all over winter in the greenhouse and well into the spring. And you know what not a bloomin sausage and they started to look "off". So I've put them outside and they are looking far healthier and will stay out there

Thanks for the advice Trillium and Richy......raspberries are all in with a good treatment on compost and mulched with leafs and the strawberries are also all planted out but I didn't know if it would be a good idea to mulch them with leafs or not :?

Just got to decide where to put my free gifts.
