last year i grew 7o ft of peas of the aldman variety,and was very pleased with them,problem being the frame i built to put the netting on was well biult and i think will be a * to get the posts out! ive seen that peas dond do well in the same place second year,so can i grow beans there or will they fayre poorly too? :D

Your cabbages will do really well after the peas.  They'll appreciate the extra nitrogen.

plant ya beans in the same place any time ya want just dig the trench fill with manure and away ya go , move the soil from the trench to another place and refresh the soil back
still alive /............

i,d wait at least while end of march before I planted out them cabbage seedlings  :lol:
I used to work in a helium gas factory, but I walked out, no one talks to me like that.

they were amongst my best achievements last year! and won me many a first! my marrows did well,a pair to 87lb!

Of course they were edible. Why do people assume  that veg grown exceptionally well should not be edible? The taste and texture should be the same as any other cabbage of the same variety, just a hell of a lot more of it.

Man-sizes portions on every plate. :wink:
