Here comes the frost
« on: November 21, 2008, 13:24 »
I have a couple of rows of broad beans standing roughly 6~8" high, they went in around six weeks ago.

Should I consider protecting them from future frosts? How's best?

Thanks
Graham.

Assume they are Aquadulce? they are pretty hardy so should be ok, but you could put some fleece over the top just to be sure and remove when frost has past.  I have some A Claudia just popping through the ground now, i have netted them to stop crows from having them but otherwise i will leave em as is.
