Frost
« on: September 26, 2007, 16:37 »
If frost is forecast, is there anything special I should do on the plot? Do I have to get certain plants up before?
At the moment I have:
leeks
spring cabbage
PSB
sweetcorn
runner beans
perp spinach
carrots
still in the ground, plus a parsnip and sprouts which will be okay (?)
I am panicking because I have not brought the house plants and the palms and banana tree in from the garden yet.

Frost would knock back your runner beans and, I'd guess, sweetcorn.  Everything else will be fine, indeed parsnips will be greatly improved.
