Secondhand rotavator prices
« on: November 14, 2008, 23:07 »
Is it me or have the prices gone a bit bannanas? There have been two Flymo DMs sold on Ebay lately, neither of which had the mudshield/mudguard with them and they both went for over eighty quid?
Is it the current boom in demand for allotments & home grown vegetables fuelling this price rise or is the credit crunch accellerating things?
You be the judger, our lines are open! :D
Blimey! You mean you can *grow* things in soil?

Over the last couple of years, I've noticed that the prices have become silly.
I think it's all down to the current boom in allotment holders.

Yep they have gone mad.

Really?!

I'm hoping that by hanging on until the spring I should get a good price.

I now live the other side of the village from my parents, rather than 30 minutes away. So I can now borrow dad's Norlett. Let him have the expense of servicing and repairs
