I'm a little bit worried about some of my fruit bushes, in the past month they seem to have gone on a big growth spurt.

My Loganberry must be twice the size it was 6 weeks ago. my black currants have all sprouted dozens of tiny green spots, which I presume will turn into leaves and stalks and eventually branches.

I'm just a bit worried that they're gone dormant, woken up again and have thrown all their winter reserves into new growth, and so will all die horribly in the frosts

Not much you can do about it I'm afraid.

A lot of soft fruit don't exactly grow dormant for most of the non-existant winter here.

Be carefull with your pruning all next year's fruit buds are formed this summer on most things.
