Growth spurt
« on: May 23, 2012, 15:20 »
Like a lot of others I know, my seedlings were struggling to grow, even in my greenhouse. The cold and the lack of light really kept them back. Yesterday was the first really warm and really bright day for ages. Today when I checked, everything had visibly grown and the chillies had doubled in size.

It really does go to show. It's been a tough year so far.
The idiots are winning.

Yes, it is lovely to see things finally taking off isn't it? I was starting to feel I would be trying to over winter everything to plant next year! It is amazing what a little light and warmth does.

I have really noticed this too, I can't believe how much everything has shot up just since Monday!  It's nice for things to have things growing other than just the weeds and lawn!  :)

I swear my sunflowers have doubled in height since Monday, I may have a chance in our sunflower competition after all....
No matter how many plants I have in my garden, I can always find room for one more.
