I am going to try and make butter with my class next week - we are having a food and farming week has anyone got any good tips? We are also going to make milkshakes if anyone has some healthy recipes?
We are also going to look at sheeps wool and talk about weaving if anyones got any contacts with a spinning wheel in Worcestershire? I did read a post from 'corndolly' about wool somewhere and think she was from Worcestershire?

Only thing I remember about butter making at school, was a Margerine tub (the old Stork round ones) putting milk in it, and shaking it like mad!

My son and I love Banana Milkshake (simple banana and milk and some ice to thicken it).  We have one of them 10 Second Magic Bullets, so we throw all sorts in there.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie
a handful of fresh or frozen strawberries
1 banana
1 cup of ice
splash of orange juice

Hope this helps a little bit, sorry its not much... And I just noticed that there is no milk at all in that particular recipe that i posted!
