Hi all veg growing gods  

after a very playfull daughther only one clove managed to make it this year.

My question is -
Can I lift the garlic & then break the cloves etc & replant it this Auturm for a more bountyfull spring crop?

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, what time of year was this clove planted?

If it was last autumn, it really should have out of the ground by now, you'll be digging it up & planting it virtually straight away!

im the same with parsnips after my little boy decided to redig the bed!

A WHOLE garlic, lucky whatsit.
How about split the garlic into cloves and replant, but let daughter plant the smaller ones as hers.
Use labels to mark which is whos.
