one mineral name for diatomacious earth, is Kieselghur. Im sure most of you will never have heard of it. But if it doesnt work against the mites by itself, you could mayby try doing what a chap called Alf did with it in the late 1800s

he mixed it with some nasty oily stuff he had laying around that was a bit unstable and hard to handle. And in doing so invented DYNAMITE

That stuff was nitroglycerine and the bloke was Alfred Nobel
