Too late for beetroot?

Hi,

I sowed some beetroot about a month ago and the seedlings are now about an inch tall with three true leaves.

My question is...is it too late to put these in the ground, will they mature at this time of year?

Normally I'd say to late but with the weird weather we have it could stay warm till Jan :roll: put them in and give them a go.

I plonked some in on saturday in a container, as richy says with the weather ya never know

My son loves it loads so its worth a do
