I was given three unknown ornamental chili seeds and I only got one to germinate. I have never grown them before because I thought they were a bit pointless as they are not hot, but it looks nice and I will put more effort into growing more for next year.

No they taste sweet and fruity, very mild heat in any case. Although I like them hot! so some may say different.

There are a lot of ornamental chiles, which are hot indeed. You could try another one.

Hey sharky, those chilli's look brilliant. If they are sweet and fruity I bet they would go great in a salad. What part of Manchester are you from, I am in Moston. Do you have any of the seeds left, I could swap you some if you like, three varieties I got from Indonesia, don't know the name, just ones I bought from a market, de-seeded them and brought them home.
