What To Plant Now

i think i am being optimistic but i have planted out the following on my second plot, (2 weeks ago though)

i have planted peas (kevldon wonder) i might have gone a little over board with them as i have planted 6 x 8meter long double rows. along side these i have planted 4 double rows of mangetout, and plan to plant out some broad beans in november

In a differnt bed i have planted some 2nd crop potatoes nadine and charlotte  i think

have sown some more carrots as the first ones were very successful, also have cauliflower seedlings in, have some brussel sprouts which are about 1ft high, and some lettuce.

i have more cauliflowers, calbrase, purple sprouting, cabbage, pak choi which should be ready to plant out at the end of the month.

i am also hoping to plant some wheat this year, i eventually managed to secure a supply of grain seed, so will see how that turns out.

Sprouting broccolli was the first thing I put into my allotment 4 weeks ago and I am amazed at how fast it is growing.  Has done really well so I would definitely recommend it!

Watch out for the cabbage white eggs though.  These need to be rubbed off the underside of the leaves regularly so they don't hatch a 'very hungry caterpillar'!
