Finally I have been offered a plot!

Hi Guys

They have finally offered me a plot, it is only small, they converted 7 plots to 12 and I don't think the original ones were full size.

Anyway I should be okay, don't want masses of land to start with, sign the tenancy agreement next week, then start digging.

(Oh and ask even more silly questions)

I know Gaffer, posted you a congrats. You aren't far from me so if you want to swap seeds or anything let me know. I went a bit mad in wilco's and some nice lady on freecycle sent me a load.

I have also found free well rotted horse manure - as much as you like.

Wish I could think of a way to get the horse s**t over to mine....It ain't going in my car ....that is for certain!!!!

I am trying to get on freecycle...cant seem to get the Leeds moderator to approve my application! Never replies to my e mails!!

I don't mind a bit of horse sh*t, also have a trailer so could drop you some off but you can dig it out the muck heap.

Thank you, I am so exited, like a kid at Christmas.

Even the allotments officer thinks I am mad, she wrote at the bottom of my offer letter to go and pick a plot before I explod. I didn't exactly pester her more sort of stalk in a bunny boiler type of way - lol
