When is this ripe ?  I have one apple in my garden and it looks ripe already.
Also what is the best way to cook it ?

But how can I know if it comes off easily ?

Also any ideas on how to cook it ?

Coming off easily is the test for ripeness. If you need to give it more than half a twist, leave it.  :wink:
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".
