I'm growing a couple of varieties of chillis this year in pots, 2 jalopenos and 2 hungarians, they are all growing really well, (my boss gave me a great tip of putting 6 matches 2" below the roots when you plant them as they love the sulphur!).

Anyway 3 of the plants have buds and flowers but one of the jalopenos, exactly the same size as its bro standing about 18" has no buds at all. Any idea why this is as they have both been treated the same and is it likely to produce any?

I have ten chilli plants and they are all developing at different rates.

Four have produced many large chillis, another four are just getting into full flower and two and only just started to develop buds.

They were all grown from seed (not sure what variety) and treated the same.

Maybe they are just very individual plants

Thanks pulse I guess theres nothing wrong with being individual - or special as my mum keeps telling me!
