Clematis Armandii

Hello All
I am about to purchase 2 Clematis armandii plants to grow up the side of my allotment shed.  Both will be planted in large pots.  What is the best way / thing to attached them to? I'm thinking trellis or maybe netting?

Something strong and big. Or are you trying to dwarf them keeping in the pots?

Donno how large pots and why, but would do better in the ground, I think.

Thanks for that gobs.  The only reason i'm keeping them in pots is the side of the shed i want it to grow up backs on to a pth - hence no earth.  Maybe I will scrap the plan and look for something best suited to large pots - any suggestions?  Somthing that can be left out all year - very sunny postion - I would like somthing evergreen with long flower time
