Poplars
« on: July 19, 2008, 15:27 »
We have about 6 poplars grown in a row from whips we got sent out from England. They are about 2 years old and about 7 feet hight and in full leaf.  They appear to have rust on the leaves and some of the leaves are turning yellow.
What can I do?  They are in the paddock with the geese and ducks but not very near the pond.
I also want to take 'whips' from them in autum - is that the right time or should I wait till winter?
Looking forward to yor help.
Living the very busy retired life I never thought  would have
