Weedkiller - can't remember the name

Hubby was given a sprayer with some weedkiller by another allotment guy to kill our grass and other weeds on half our plot. He can't remember the name of the stuff, he rekons something like 'anemic'

?? Does this sound like anything you have heard of?

I am trying to work out how long we will have to leave the soil etc so need the name of the stuff. The guy is hardly ever there so can't ask him yet

Amicide?

If so - I believe it's now banned.

I have found a useful link about amicide. (on this site) and looks like if it is amicide it is safe to plant in 12 weeks.

I think you should double check with the guy what it is for sure, before eating something you shouldn't have, as we don't have much there to go buy.
