How many trusses of tomatoes would anyone suggest I let appear on the plants before I nip out the top ?

I have 5 at the moment with the lower 2 with fruit set.

Any thoughts.

It depends if they are in greenhouse or outside and the type. If they are inside i think 7 maybe 8 max, outside 5 max.I may be totally wrong but it works for me.
