Im sorry if this has been discussed time and again everyone, Ive searhed but havent got a week to spare to read all the results!

My question (daft one..... drumroll please........)
Hopefully Im getting my keys for plot 41 on Monday
I want to plant spuds that will be served at Christmas dinner

A friend told me I can just count back 90 days from then and plant sep time, is this possible?

You'll want main crop potatoes which should be ready sometime in fall. Not sure of planting time tho; check John's Information section for that (we do ours differently over here). These should keep nicely until long after Christmas if you've got a cool, dark, frost-free place to keep them. If you feed the spuds well, they'll taste good all through storage.
