Ducklings first Swim!!!

Here they are my runners at just over 3 weeks old having their first proper swim, lovely to watch them splashing around obviously having a wonderful time despite mums frantic rosey!!! :shock: :shock:

Really healthy animals and the ducks seem to be overjoyed with their pond, They have took to it like a duck to water

The chicken is funny. So bemused and confused to why its babies seem to want to jump into a mass of water

The setup and your animals are a credit to you, keep up the good work and more pics in the future

must be very confusing for a mum that doesn't swim to see her babies enjoying it so much!

And for the babies to wonder why mum doesn't like the water! lol

I showed my daughter the pics after explaining that chooks can hatch other eggs

she thought it was amazing! lol

They are so entertaining! Lovely to walk into your own garden to feed the ducks! I know just ducklings.... Cant wait to get eggs from them, runners lay really well apparently so cant wait to bake some cake with them.

Duckies smell a bit but its worth it. Lovely eggies and they are soooo cute

No I can't! or can I! :twisted: the lady I got the chooks from had day old duckies and I couldn't take my eyes off of them. gonna have to work on mr. katt first and if thats anything like the chooks its gonna take a while
