I'm not sure it's that lincspoacher. I've taken a couple more photos of another sample I dug up.

Haven't got any cotyledon photos. They'd gone beyond that !

Also, no flowers as yet. But the leaves just don't seem arrow shaped in the same way.

I'm sure it's not a bind weed.  It has opposing leaves !

Leave a specimen to flower Rob

Just been for a stroll down the garden (not a euphamism).

Here's another example of said weed showing 2 stems from one root section.....

A hedge bindweed growing through fence.....

And what we think is a nightshade (deadly/black?) next to fence...

...we live in a garden of mysteries

Morning glory? Calystegia silvatica or great/giant bindweed. Maybe.

Last picture....I have had that in my last and my current garden and have always thought it was a form of Hypericum...has yellow flowers that eventully turn into dark reddish/ black berries.

It is  :!:   Well done Zepherine :D

There are quite a lot of Hypericums, I have two in my garden, but the arrangement shape and colouration of the leaves looks rather like this one:

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
