I have a Polish hen that loves to peck feet no matter what you wear on your feet, so hubby decided to play a trick on her and wears his steel toe cap trainers but she still pecks them.  I keep telling him its because she has very limited vision and that I should cut her "hair" but hubby says no she will probably see my feet from the bottem of the garden then.

I met my first 'real' hens while looking around my local allotments - I was wearing crocs and they were pecking through the little holes - must have been an optical illusion for them, but it blooming hurt!
