Where to get feed from?

We are hopefully getting our hen house and hens very soon. But before we do I want to make sure I'm all set up...obviously!!

Where would be the best place for me to get chicken feed from? Any good online retailers that deliver? Or anyone know of a local supplier near to Bolton, Lancs?

If anyone also knows of a local breeder, advice would be welcomed!

Have you looked in the yellow pages for an animal feed wharehouse/farm? Hopefully someone on the forum may be able to give you the name of one near you.

Give Allen & Page a ring on 01362 822900 and ask if they have anyone in that area.

Thanks for the help.

After searching all morning for a supplier :x , it turns out that my local pet shop (which is just the normal run of the mill small animal pet shop) actually stocks poultry feeds and will even deliver to me for free!!

Sometimes things are a lot easier than what you think! Or I think obviously!!! :shock:
