crop problem
« on: April 04, 2008, 10:35 »
hi

have a hen with a large crop, she was fine yesterday morning but yesterday afternoon was feeling very sorry for herself, caught her and bought her inside, given her flaxseed oil and have been giving her massages, the crop feels very grainey it is not rock hard, she seems to have a bit more fight in her today, her poo is normal so something must be passing through her, her eyes are bright and she is alert, I have not given her any food so she has been starved now for approx 13 hours (she does have access to water)

any thoughts on what else we can do would be appreciated,

thanks
pauline

hi

she is fine and back with her friends, she flew out of the box this morning so knew she was back to normal, oil and massage obviously did the trick although her crop is still large but will keep an eye on her
