Mine still haven't arrived in the post, will it be too late to plant them when they arrive?  I guess not, as I can't really keep them until next year!

Thanks, I hope they arrive soon though.  I've got some leeks growing in seed trays, which I'm not sure I should have as someone told me you can't transplant them, hope this isn't true!

:D  are you on about your leeks when you got told you cant transplant them you deffo can i did mine last year and no problems :wink: ..most peeps i know also transplant there leeks . :D  8) ....hope this helps thanks p,j,

My red baron haven't arrived yet either, along with the asparagus and a set of raspberry canes.  there are some fruit like stuff arriving around may too (I hope).  But as the ground isn't preped for the onions yet I'm not too worried so long as they DO turn up!

Still no red barons here either, so I e-mailed unwins on thursday & they said they'll be delivered at "optimum planting time" :lol:   All my others came ages ago.    With all this rain it's near impossible to get anything planted  :(

I've not got my Heat treated onions from Marshalls either,nor has my mate from T+M.

I bet my postman's onions are doing well though.. :shock:

Onions not planted and leeks growing in a tray. No chance of either going in any ground at the moment as it is blowing a gale and pouring with rain. :?

My Onion sets both Red Baron and Sturon are going in today.
Another plotter at our site who has been growing for years doesn't put his Onion sets in till Mid April each year.
99% Organic and 1% Slug Pellets.

Allotment holder since 27th May 2007.
