Theres nothing nicer than a bowl of porridge in this weather &  WHO did make those footprints :lol:  :lol:

They love porridge, not too much, I give it to them tepid !! Especially on really frosty or snowy mornings, about half an hour after they get up !!

Mine are at the back door now eating porridge!!! I just make it with hot water and let it cool - I gave them a mug full - between 3 hens.

Poor henny penny daren't even try to get a look in  :cry:

3 x chickens
1 x bunny
6 x african snails  . . . . . and counting.

Is that what I have to look forward to weather wise. I will be in the Uk tomorrow until Saturday, best I get my thermals out by the look of it :shock:   :(

wonderful piccie mumsy.... mine have ready brek, as i dont know how to make porrige. i mix in a few raisins too if im feeling generous.

is it really, i thought you had to make porridge in a saucepan. and ready brek is just add water and milk.

Porridge is oats....ready brek is the oats all mashed up, cook it the same, just takes longer when its porridge.  I make it in the microwave with water for the girls, milk for me, I have loads of butter on it, the girls don't :lol:  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:
Sorry we will miss you Jellyhead, perhaps next time, will have to plan it :!:  Hope its won't be too cold for you, there a blizzard at the mo!!

I like porrige but Ready brek is much nicer  :) ..thanks mumsy now won't feel guilty eating it instead! Mind you...can't get it here...or porrige  :( ...there are just some things we have to come back to UK for...bet Jellyhead will be bringing back porrige, bacon, brown sauce......!
