finally got the chooks new bark laid in their garden today.

they had a whale of a time exploring in the afternoon sun




even little evie got stuck in

Its nice out there isn't it, quite mild, getting a bit windier though.

That's half the fun of it !

I'm making semi-plans to extend our run further into the garden. Would be nice to retain some grass for a while though rather than have to resort to the woodchip look.
It does look nice  for them though. Well done to you and the invisible bark fairies.  :wink:

Hi Babe that looks great! We have a similar run with bark but I got my oh to plant a few shrubs in there thinking they would like to have things to jump on or hide under.  As I've not let them out there yet becuase of the weather would it have been better to leave it bare for more space? :roll:
