Bought my seed spuds today and I was wondering if they are already chittied  so i took a picture:



Also what is the likely yield per potato plant and when should I sow them?

They are similar to the stage that my potatoes are at. The plan is for me to plant mine beginning of April. I don’t know expected yields for my variety and not really concerned as long as I get more out than I put in I will be happy.

Take them out of that bag Sharky else the chits will get knocked off as you take them out of the bag.    

Yield varies by variety, weather conditions, spacing, soil fertility.

Leave them somewhere bright, cool and frost free to chit a bit more though
