I like that....the blindfolds could be tricky to tie but it'll wear them out a bit.

If I could just wean them off the bedtime stories it'd be so much easier.

I hope no-one's reading this.

24 weeks 5 days to be precise!!!

The couple up the road from me had 6 2 weeks after you Rob, and yesterday they got 2 eggs for the first time, and out of the 95 I've got left as that bloke didn't turn up who was giong to have 50 or all of them today!!!!   I've had 10 eggs!!

And from the 12 Amberlinks and Goldlines that we got in August, today I got 12 eggs for the first time!  I've never had more than 11 before!!!  I thought one was steriles, but obviously just a VERY late developer!!

I found a couple of logs and put them in my run. They have cracks and holes in and I put treats in them, gives them something to think about. :)
Would put Picture up of them eating from said logs but can't work out how to :?  Only managed to get the ones on my profile so far  :?  :?

We've got some decent logs with all sorts of nooks and crannies but the only treat we give is mixed corn and greens. What sort of things do yorus eat ?...ours aren't interested in worms yet but apparently will develop a taste for them when they're ready. I wonder if there's anything else they have to 'work up to' ?
Looking for inspiration.  :)

I give odd bits of brown bread, apple, plums and the real favorite dried mealworms :)

I think we need to start experimenting. Don't know where the nearest fishing tackle shop is for meal worms. I really need to re-do the run so we can nip and out easier.

At the moment I have to squeeze past the coop to get to the main run cos I forgot to allow for the roof overhang when I positioned the fencing !
It makes it difficult to get by without risking treading on one of them as they jump up at whatever you're bringing them.

Thanks for the suggestions Vember. I'll get on to it.
