The last of the chicken - I think it's the garlic causing the bitterness, I fixed it will a little brown sugar and some cajun seasoning.

I spotted a small whole chicken on the reduced shelf in the village shop, so brought it home with me.. I've jointed it and put most of it in the freezer but all the bones and odds and sods have gone in the stock pot with the usual veg and some stock cubes.
That's tea sorted then  :lol:

 Savory mince with new pots and peas , lge plain pancake with small ice cream and scattered fresh fruit over the top, all went down a treat  :D

Fish and chips from our local chippie, which is very popular.  2 fish and 1 chips as they are generous and a portion of chips each is a small mountain  :lol:

Having seen this, I had to replicate it and tonight was the night lol,plus it’s made two so another for Friday night. Luvvly jubbly as we’re going on holiday on Saturday so not much to do then then (as if) lol

Made the mistake of doing tuna pasta bake last night, so fish 2 days in a row as there's breaded cod and a handful of oven chips on the menu tonight. It will have to be beans with it too.

Most of the large supermarkets sell Birdseye chicken quarter pounders Mrs B in either packs of 2 or 4 :)
